People like this guy are what by and large scared me away from ever enjoying pop culture again.

People who try desperately to justify their dorky hobby as art only make the hobby seem more and more r-slurred and embarassing to everyone around them.

They always sound like their mom didnt let them play games and they're trying to sell her on why "actually its a good thing" but they're like 30 years old now

There are definitely video games that I would consider art like Shadow of the Colossus, Bioshock, Franbow and a few others.

I would not put Star Wars Battlefrount in that category.

The Same as I would consider Apocalypse Now art but not an episode of family guy.

I agree, they can be, but there's no point in ever saying that out loud. Especially when you're obviously super defensive like it's absolutely crucial to you that everyone understand.
