I failed senior English because I didnโt do assignments, and when put on probation, wrote an essay about how timewasting essays were and got a zero. Went on to get a graduate degree while that teacher very publicly quit a few years later over how hard it was to teach suburban white kids.

I've taken a lot of language classes. Immigrant students who "speak the language at home" always do poorly because despite being able to converse, they're illiterate r-slurs who can't write or read for shit. They legitimately deserve to fail (and that's a good thing).
