It can theoretically work with twitter because they have a large enough install base that the r-slurred nazis and qoomers will be similarly irrelevantly small just like the real world.
But if all these journoids and libs screeching about how theyโre leaving isnโt just hysterical bluffing, Twitter will suffer a major blow right out the gate and then settle into a perpetual state of decay because of it.
Reddit (post-jailbait ban) had a really desirable balance with their sheer size and general grudging tolerance of fringe views up until quarantines started. Harmless MDEโs ban was the death knell for Redditโs existence as anything out of the ordinary.
