This is the only legal way to get rid of these people. You can't just fire them without lawsuit so you have to do something offensive enough that they quit but inoffensive enough that you not vulnerable to a "hostile workplace" lawsuit. That or you move your company to Texas for more sympathetic courts + getting rid of employees that would never move to Texas.
