I’m hopping on a plane later tonight and have a friend scared I’m going to die. I’m just going to Colorado so I can come back the next day but that’s somehow scarier than the literal dozens of times I’ve sky dived.
It reminds me of my hair stylist that gets mad at me every time I get a touch up before international travel…

It’s not real concern something bad will happen, it’s how they express what you mean to them in a round about way. They care about your safety because they care about you—they are just using the airplane as a convenient way to show you that.
