As for our discussion yesterday...
You liked Gumroad a lot. Like, a whole lot. 80 upvotes, 0 downvotes. Exponentially greater than support for Patreon and Paypal, even combined, even combined and not counting their downvotes. That was a surprise! But a really fortuitous one, because we then found that Gumroad is SUPER friendly both to questionable content, and to the people who use it. Much moreso than Patreon on both counts. But brand recognition with Gumroad is nowhere near what it is with Patreon, and some people are hesitant to use a service they're not familiar with. And so we've set up Gumroad and Patreon accounts, so if you want to donate, you can do so whichever way feels just so right to you.

We aren't paywalling any features, this will not change. Paywalls are disgusting and the griftiest of grifts. We are offering some small, cosmetic benefits to contributors though. That is, benefits beyond the continued existence of the site. Which is, again, why we've set these up. http://rdrama.net is growing quickly and will likely continue to grow, both in terms of raw numbers, and hosted content. So this is, again again, a necessary thing to do to avoid cutting too much into our (fair and competitive) janitorial salaries.
This will likely expand as we think of more fun little pieces of shit to add, but for now, the tiers are as follows:

$50/month - Terminally Online Turboautist
- You get a snazzy PLATINUM profile badge indicating your tragically neurodivergent status, and a cool flashy effect for your username. TOT-tier donors will also receive thoughts as well as prayers to our diverse pantheon of deities in hopes that they will one day learn to manage their money better.
Profile badge design will be completed tonight when I get back, and implemented then. Or tomorrow if Aevann is asleep when that happens. Right now, it’s just the Patreon P symbol as a placeholder. Bussy-themed badges for contributors are now live, along with a few other new badges.
If you've got any other suggestions for rewards, let us know and we'll probably add them if they're not shit. Nothing that will give any actual "advantage" on the site or anything, or diminish others' usage of it. Use your words to bully people off, use your money to ruin their lives offline.
