It's recently come to my attention that bostonians, culinary home of.... Baked beans...., is disputing Chicago as drama capital of the states.
I was going about 20 MPH with my racing bike in the bike specific lane. A group of 4 mother all with strollers were waiting on the side. When I was about 10 feet from them they decided it was a good time to walk into the path and wall off the entire thing. With the distance they gave me, it was near impossible to stop. I had a near miss by taking the gap between one of them while simultaneously trying to slow down as much as I could. Nearly flipped my bike. Mothers, and anyone else for that matter... please educate yourself enough to know to look both ways and not walk in front of fast moving objects. I don't want to hit you, and I don't want to hit your baby. Good day.

Yes! I run on the path year round and cyclists can be crazy aggressive. A couple weeks ago, I checked behind me and ran 100 feet in the bike lane because the pedestrian path was underwater. A cyclist flew by me and screamed at me “THIS IS THE BIKE LANE, THATS THE PEDESTRIAN PATH!” This type of interaction happens to me a lot.
Then use the pediatrian lane. That's why it's there. Shessh. It's not being aggressive but it's fricking irrating to have to navigate folks walking in the bike lane when there is a enough sidewalk for runners and walkers.
"Then swim you pathetic pedestrian, I want to go fast" 
Hardcore cycling is how upper middle class (and above) white people get to pretend how they're an oppressed class of people.
Last summer, I had a pregnant woman walk out between cars near Belmont\Lincoln\Ashland after she looked me right in the face. Totally saw me coming...and continued to walk right in front of me. Fortunately, I was not going very fast and was able to stop. Because she proceeded to open her car door in front of me with traffic going by on the left so there was no way to avoid her. Made me wonder if she so casually strolls out in front of cars and trucks and just blithely assumes they're all going to be able to stop in time.

I support this, especially when they're not wearing any road rash gear. They're taking themselves off the road eventually. I had a friend who had a BF that crashed doing a wheelie while going 35mph and the road rash he got was gnarly and gross. I can't imagine how bad it gets going faster than that. He didn't ride a bike after that but that may have been because the bike he had got totally wrecked

Urban cyclists naturally evolve into douchebags because chaotic urban environment combined with cyclist entitlement. Narrow roads and lots of pedestrians (and jaywalkers) and cars suddenly stopping, starting and changing lanes and you have endless accidents waiting to happen.
