I was confirmed Protestant but theologically I am more behind the Catholics. My reason is this: we live in a world of abundant pain and suffering, I dont think fetishizing that will bring us either closer to God or to a good life. Enjoying life is ok and should not be painful. Now as irrelevant that may be, my godfather (which is just a trusted family friend here, not incredibly religious) once brought it up as why he is Catholic and it kept an impression on me. In the end its kind of an old split, more about how you want your life to be than what the bible says and what not. But after I stopped wanting to end myself I knew that life is good and should be celebrated. Complete absolute oversharing so pls lets end it at that.

I think it's weird, but I have no issue with people doing drag. I could even attend a drag show and be fine with it. I'm very much in the category of let adults do what they want as long as they aren't harming anyone. I just don't see any valid reason to expose children to it.
