I was actually shocked to see the comments here. The way i see it, you dont have to support trans ideology to recognise that gender dysphoria is mental illnesses comparable to horrible chronic pain, and any person with brains would realise that this pain should be alleviated (again, regardless of ideology), but people here are acting as though mental illnesses only suddenly occur on a persons 18th birthday, or worse, they occur earlier but shouldn't be treated until the person is 18, which is so effing dumb i just cant. Being trans isnโ€™t a decision. Its caused by a birth condition that literally make you have the opposite mental gender than your body. Your brain does not like this and it hurts, to oversimplify it. To explain a tiny bit more, it causes a mental state of gender dysphoria which can cause depression, panic attacks, general constant uncomfortableness and suicidal breakdowns (-1)
