I don't see how this is unpopular. Like, about specifically Yamato's gender, yeah, there's a lot of weirdness. Sure, they identify themselves as male, but it's not for the sake of embracing their own identity, but to imitate another's, so I can see why there's so much ambiguity as to what they should be referred to as, and why I don't think Yamato genuinely qualifies as being trans, because they might recognise themselves as female if/when the Oden phase ends. However, if this gives her the perspective that she'd rather be a man as Yamato, and not as Oden, then that should be no problem for recognising them as a man.Shit like refusing to refer to Kiku as she/her, or saying "tits = woman" is pretty problematic though. It has been made abundantly clear that Kiku identifies as a woman, there is no Yamato ambiguity, referring to her with masculine pronouns is just wilful ignorance. There is no excuse other than "I don't believe in trans people" which is obviously transphobic. And just b... (5)

Perhaps you're judging the post in question moreso by the comments, but I really don't see how the post itself constitutes serious bigotry. At least to me, it seemed to be an obvious, small joke. (Hate to be explaining a joke, but here goes.) On the one hand you have a whole essay/analysis, and then on the other you have a silly, stupid "if tits, she girl" line. It's just generating a (perhaps) funny contrast, and I personally don't think it was meant to be taken seriously or was made with ill intent.I think it's a bit of a bad look for the other side actually, getting so worked up so quickly. Can't jokes be made anymore? On top of that, all you're doing with this is antagonizing people more.
