She's done a few things to bust some bussies over the years. Here's a quick list of what I'm aware of:
lately, she was dragging colleagues and superiors on twitter. In particular, she blasted the guy who retweeted that "most girls are bi, you have to figure out out if it's -polar or -sexual" joke on twitter to virtue signal instead of being an adult and talking to him offline about it. Then some squabbling online happened that caused an executive editor to send out two memos telling staff members to not act like jerk offs online
hours after Kobe Bryant died in the helicopter crash, she posted a link about his sexual assault allegations
she previously sued WaPo and its top editors for discrimination bc she said they barred her from covering sexual assault stories after she went public as a victim (I don't know the details on that)
did a lot of crying on twitter that made WaPo look terrible and having her colleagues tweeting to her asking her to stop. For example, she retweeted a screen shot that said another reporter had blocked her on Twitter, adding the comment, βSo I hear the Washington Post is a collegial workplace.β While it was consuming attention, another Post reporter, Lisa Rein, tweeted to Sonmez: βplease stop.β
She just kind of sounds like a cluster B butthole or something.

she was in china and got drunk with another press guy. drove him home on her scooter and banged him. then like a year later some other womxn published a metoo allegation against the him and she thought she could glom onto that. so she had a friend confront him at a meeting of some press club.

Oh shit, I did know that story. That was a mess and she did frick that guy over. She was fine with what happened until years later and all of a sudden she thought it was assault when she went along with it and consented at the time. Crazy fricking b-word.
