If blues and pinks and masculinity/femininity come to mind then therein lies the problem. You see, people of any gender can be masculine or feminine. People can flip flop between one or another. Girls should feel like they can be into cars and shit if they want and boys shouldn’t feel weird about wearing the color pink. So it’s not absolutely harmless. These ideals have been passed down from generation to generation. It is a problem. People are put into a box before they are even fully developed. Intersex babies are more common than you think. Everyone starts out with a vagina and in the womb some slowly develop into a peepee and that’s how we get boys. Some are born where their development isn’t complete so you end up with some form of genitalia that is between vagina and peepee.
