Young people quite obviously have strong negative feelings about Biden that aren't being driven by policy, but something else (it's social media and TikTok, you dopes - the kids are absorbing nonstop negative messages about Biden 24/7 through social media and TikTok
Nobody ever weaponized social media before 2016! 
There's an idea ("Biden sucks and doesn't do anything for us"), it bounces around an echo chamber, it spreads. We see it on the right on a weekly basis. And it's the easiest explanation for Biden's youth collapse.
The echo chamber isn't what made me completely detached from the majority of society! It's what made the majority of society detached from me! I am very intelligent!

It actually depends on the region, but they also tend to skew towards establishment candidates because schizophrenics who think poll companies are spying on them are the most reliable voters for anti-establishment populists.
Since some regions have more of these people than others (the midwest) they definitely skew left rn with the cheeto in chief
