I rolled my eyes when GMTK tried to act like having blank letterbox borders was some herculian impossible task when 90% of these retro emulation collections have the option

I watched his Hitman 3 video recently and my god it is the most redundant video of all time. How do people watch this? To me it feels like :brainletchair: trying to seem smart with words words words describing obvious stuff

“Usually in Hitman you have two or three targets, in this level you have eleven”

“They are in different areas of the map”

“You have to identify them first”

“When you have finished the level once, you dont have to identify them again”

“The level is set in Berlin”

“Theres a nightclub in the front and a warehouse in the back”

Play the level once and the video has no substance to it. It’s observations even the dumbest layman can make. Thats all his videos. The only benefit i can imagine is maybe if you’ve never played a video game in your life and never intend to but dont want to read wikipedia articles describing the gameplay but the fact he thinks hes a genius for describing surface level details of games with no critique or analysis is the sign we need to kill g*mers

I actually liked his older boss keys videos as they went into the level design of Metroid and Zelda (something a lot of people miss out on in reviews). But hes stopped doing that to instead be an educator on game dev when hes made one game in unity which is the kind of thing id see on cool math games in the late 00s

I objectively understand both sides of the argument. I understand why people would find her unattractive but also something about her weirdly African and Irish blend of features screams "get this walking stack of big titties and genetic diversity pregnant" from the animal part of my brain.
