For what it's worth, Headcannon is the only one who knows how to make a proper retro Sonic game that runs outside an emulator. I haven't played the latest collection yet to see if it's worth sneething about, but if it's actually bad, I really doubt it's this dude's fault.

Its actually not a bad collection lol. I mean the work was already done with the mobile ports but you can tell the people loved the originals. Problem is just sega shittery where they didnt just let headcannon port everything they instead only let them make a sonic3 port and then forced that port into their framework/engine so all the problems with the collection are in the changes sega made either intentionally in porting these versions that were already done and done well by Stealth

Can someone explain what's actually wrong with them?
I saw some nerd crying it was "broken" because you could go into a bonus level ring, pause restart level and get transported to another zone.

General bugs and physics problems. As well as shitty music replacements for royalty reasons. For me everything feels a little off. Nothing patches cant fix
