I'm a liberal and describe myself as a liberal, which is why it depresses me that "liberals" and leftists in the non-American West are the personification of the NPC meme. They have no critical thinking skills, no ability to form their own narratives, and are unable to take on any opinion until American cultural imperialism exports it to their relevant countries.

They are human only by the strictest of biological definitions, and sometimes I find myself doubting even that.

Voluntary termination of a pregnancy is legal in Australia.

There are many other issues at home (i.e. Australia) that could use protesting over, yet for some bizarre reason, some individuals/groups feel that it's imperative that Australians appropriate a distinctly American issue that requires American solutions. Heck we should be protesting about divesting from fossil fuels.

This approach of appropriating American issues is an insult to those who deal with those Australian issues daily, who could really use public support to advocate for their plight.

There is nothing wrong with being a bleeding heart. It just puts in doubt the sincerity of your advocacy.
