I don´t see any reputable liberal in the mainstream arguing in favor of lowering the age of consent. Even liberals that are child male feminists are seen as evil by everyone. bestiality was a legal practice in america until recently when several countries started to make it punishable by law, which was also around the same time that same-s*x marriage became allowed in many countries. I wonder why, almost as if there is a meaningful distinction between two consenting adults in the bedroom and fricking an animal or a child. Very strange how people like you dont see it.

This whole "the left is going to push pedophilia as an orientation" argument is off-base. This was attempted in the 60's and 70's but the pro-p-do positions were driven out or underground due to the LGBT+ movement becoming mainstream. The left is arguing that children should be taught about different sexual orientations like being gay or transgender, while there are definitely predators in the movement the mainstream arguments focus on orientation and identity, not s*x itself. What the concerns really are about are when it is appropriate to discuss sexual identity and s*x itself with children, and I think there are definitely limits to what can be explained when.

It is true that many LGBT individuals, particularly gay men, often have had their first sexual experiences with p-dophiles who have relative safety to prey on underaged individuals due to gay culture still being far from the mainstream. In order to prevent this from happening to kids, there should be education about different sexual orientations so they don't have to rely on dark corners of society to be gay or bi or whatever. A kid learning that it's normal to be a strag is less likely to feel the need to go on some shady groomer groomercord channel to figure out his/her sexual identity.
