That's a good summary, thanks for that. Could probably mention one of the factors that the party had no defence against entryism. Most established political parties have the governance/leadership decisions ringfenced, so people can't just join and immediately start making radical changes to the leadership and direction of the party. Labour didn't have any of that, if you were a member you got to vote for the leader.
In addition if you were young, membership was ridiculously cheap, as in, happy meal cheap. That enabled a youth cadre to be formed and forced into the party at no significant cost which then gave that cadre enough of a voting bloc to completely change the direction of the party and insert Corbyn as leader.
Of course Corbyn (who has the IQ of a tree stump) didn't come up with the scheme, it's just a rehash of something that was done in the 70s by 'Militant Tendency' (not the punk band) who were funded by the USSR. It went about as well this time around as it did the first. If someone were to dig deep enough they'd probably find the funding was coming from the same general direction, although some people would call that a conspiracy theory.
This is why Political Science is worth studying. Fascinating subject.

Sure, I'm just saying that, regardless of subreddit, special rules apply on reddit regarding discussion of trans issues because a huge proportion of the mods are trans, and they have a very united front that's coordinated via groomercord.
In response to this there seems to have been a tacit agreement reached: as long as there's no 'transphobia' (according to the definition of the trans powermods) allowed sitewide the trans mods will keep dOiNg iT fOr fReE.
That's my observation from the outside, maybe I'm wrong, but that seems to be how it goes. Enforcement of that is by way of the admins responding with the quickness to accusations of transphobia and forcing a 'transphobic' subreddit to add 10+ mods from a list that admins provide to the troublesome sub mods, and of course that list is 100% comprised of trans powermods.
None of that would really be a problem if there was 100% agreement as to what comprises 'transphobia' but the definition that's used is, to say the least, divisive.
