Last night, my daughter was arrested in Boston, Massachusetts. I love Riley, and this is a very difficult time in the cycle of joy and pain in parenting.

This will be evaluated by the legal system, and I am confident in that process.

I'm a fan of the proposed change (as someone who feeds themselves off patents and patent litigation). Do I occasionally do a little patent -ing? Perhaps. But generally speaking IPRs are absolute aids to deal with and serve just as much as a kick in the balls to smaller inventors as patent trolls themselves.
Limiting them to parties that are actually of interest, will not only make the process less of a pain, but also generate a lot of . As such the dramatic thing to do is to support this with all my heart.

"Gifted" kid here, can confirm that being book smart as a kid isn't the predictor for success in capitalism that they make it out to be.
how could capitalism do this to me
I honestly think most kids in the gifted programs are neurodivergent, but because we were in gifted programs we didn't get the same attention and help to manage life well.
i'm only a failure because my teachers thought i was too smart
my mom described it pretty aptly once: i have the perfect skillset to have done extremely well in school and how it worked.
what she left out was that i do not have the skillset to do well outside of that
my mom says my only skill is being good at glorified daycare
It just goes to show you what society rewards isn't what it probably should reward.
society should reward people who got an A in 3rd grade and not people who perform skills the market deems valuable
This is more the way I see it/talk about it. I was good at school, but I never really figured out the other stuff.
im such a failure that i often think about my status of 'gifted' in elementary school

I call this Chad's paradox. Chad is unable to frick my wife because in order to get to my girlfriend, he would have to go half the distance, then a quarter of the distance, then an eighth of the distance, then a sixteenth of the distance, on and on until infinity. Since this would require an infinite number of steps, this is impossible.
Does living among utter simpletons ever get you down, fellow intellectuals? It is tiring being so much more intelligent than these sheep.

Love sitting at open mic nights and see white male comedians start bombing, look at me, then make jokes about cutting their dicks off and getting boob jobs until the guy running the place tells me I should leave.
