Because r/drama is actually a down-low neo-nazi recruitment sub that is used for grooming kids. A similar sub with the same purpose is r/clownfrens. It's all fun and edgy with the "psssst, hey kids want some memes" crap. Most of them were either created or had their moderation hijacked around the time Reddit did it's first (and last) purge of openly neo-nazi grooming/recruitment subs.

I left that shit dump once they hit 100k and started banning people. Every time I've checked back there since then to see if it's any good, it's all meta posts from the mods or power users cranking each other's dicks in a terribly unfunny and boring way. Oh well, I can't even really say it was fun while it lasted. It was mediocre while it lasted, I guess.
