When I bagged when I was in college I'd leave the checkout lanes to grab carts and do go backs as much as I could to avoid dealing with customers. And my managers saw that as me showing showing initiative. So much so so that on two occasions that I cussed out asshole customers I was just told to go outside and have a cigarette instead of being forced to apologize or get written up or whatever. Leave your carts wherever you want, man
