Freedom of speech refers to the principal that the government can't make a law that outlaws speech. Period. That's what the concept is in its entirety, that private parties are free to say whatever they want (with extra tiny exceptions like shouting "fire!" in a crowded theatre, due to the IMMINENT threat to life being posed). That includes things like being wrong, or saying you think someone else is wrong and inaccurate.

You are proposing regulation that would prevent private parties for freely expressing their opinion. Therefore it would be an attack on freedom of speech. It is a literal attack on the "marketplace of free ideas", because you are saying that private platforms like Twitter shouldn't even be allowed to participate.

IMO if there is a case where some private party is being influenced for political suppression, people should quickly switch away. If not, they are clearly fine with it, so who am I to say? It's a privately owned, totally voluntary service provides by a private party.
