Well by the time white power skins became a thing the Caribbean roots of skinhead culture were no longer the dominant part of the image. Many skins still listened to reggae, rocksteady and ska, but the primary genre of the movement was the oi! punk subgenre. A Nazi oriented offshoot of oi!, known as RAC (Rock Against Communism) became popular with the British Far Right in the early 80s with bands like the formerly not-racist band Skrewdriver. RAC eventually went its own way from oi! and started incorporating hard rock and metal into the sound.
In France it's just bright white laces on black shoes. This way they can recognize each other even while normie-dressing (the far right public rallies try to avoid visual like full on neonazis but these guys want to be able to tell each other within a crowd of alt-lite).
