Was this even the point of that investigation? I thought it was about finding out just how financially exposed Trump is in Russia. It's pretty obvious that the risk isn't him actually being connected to the Russian government, but rather the Russian government (and the Chinese government, for that matter) extorting him by threatening his financial interests in their respective countries. Trump is definitely narcissistic and shady enough to compromise the country to protect his own finances.

Was this even the point of that investigation? I thought it was about finding out just how financially exposed Trump is in Russia. It's pretty obvious that the risk isn't him actually being connected to the Russian government, but rather the Russian government (and the Chinese government, for that matter) extorting him by threatening his financial interests in their respective countries.
