If someone makes a comment that is inciting violence, it should be removed regardless. I don't care what subreddit or what context it is in, it should be removed. It's not that difficult.
If you set up site wide rules, you should be fully responsible in enforcing them regardless of you political affiliation or any conflicts of interest you may have. Obviously this doesn't happen. I feel like things would run a lot more smoother if the admins stuck to enforcing the rules in a very clear and specific manner. Leaving no room for discrepancies.
But instead, they decide to cherry pick what they remove and what to allow. Resulting in the shitshow that we see before us.

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with ideology, but with the volume of complaints. There's a fair number of people who hate-read and report /r/anarchism, probably more so than the people keeping track of some of the smaller right wing equivalents. There have also been some news stories of anarchists attacking "Nazis" in public, and reddit inc. probably want to avoid being associated with that. If the "bash the fash" meme is associated with real world gang assaults, coordinated on your company's social media site, that's not a good look for a company.

I absolutely hate the fact that the admins are inconsistent on enforcing rules.
If someone makes a comment that is inciting violence, it should be removed regardless. I don't care what subreddit or what context it is in, it should be removed. It's not that difficult.
If you set up site wide rules, you should be fully responsible in enforcing them regardless of you political affiliation or any conflicts of interest you may have. Obviously this doesn't happen. I feel like things would run a lot more smoother if the admins stuck to enforcing the rules in a very clear and specific manner. Leaving no room for discrepancies.
But instead, they decide to cherry pick what they remove and what to allow. Resulting in the shitshow that we see before us.
And let's be honest, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Someone or some community gets banned, causes some ruckus for a few days, and then people go back to doing their own shit.
