I don't get the star wars fans. I liked star wars, thought they were good movies, and I understand that people really dig into the lore and the characters. I get that.

But what I don't get is the divinification (I made that up because we're talking about fiction so fuck you) of the actors/actresses portraying the characters whilst at the same time just fucking edgelording the shit out of the author and fucking creator of the universe.

Like, the actors provided the most superficial aspect of the universe outside of action toys and somehow they are the untouchables. The creator, on the other hand, fuck him.
