Genuinely curious, did you get the magwell adapters? Do the AKs shoot 5.45 or 5.56?

The mags/ammo isn't why I like the AR more though. I like my AR more because it was cheaper, it's lighter, I think the ergonomics are better, and it's way easier to customize and upgrade. All that being said my AK is still pretty fucking badass and I love it.

Nope. They came with the magwells. Got the m85np (sbr project) and the m90 np full length fun. They are both 5.56 and both with 1/7 twist rates. That said they are tack drivers with your standard 62 grain m855.

Ergonomics wise it makes no difference to me as I'm a lefty. I find ak's more beneficial due to the fact I can shoot steel case reliably and don't have to be so tedious in regards to weapons maintenance.

I didn't know they made rifles that came with the magwells, did they come like that from Zastava? I don't have any experience with .223 AKs because I always figured why not just get an AR at that point. I shoot lefty too but I like having the adjustable stock and a bolt catch, and everything I said about being able to build them and upgrade them still stands.

I got a adjustable stock from promag on the m90 and my m85 has a ace folding stock on it. I really love the ace and comes in handy when running cqc drills.

Yeah yugos are nice but finding parts that fit on them us a pain in the ass and gets expensive. $110 for a side rail mount for a yugo from mwi for example. On the flip side they're all quality parts though!
