/r/drama has been full of agendaposting for years at this point, the flavor just changes based on current happenings. It was intolerable when gamergate was still a thing. People just don't notice it as much when the agendaposts confirm their worldview, so when the tide changes they all of a sudden recognize it and think it's a new phenomenon.

Oh yeah, at the height of GG it was getting pretty bad here and in SRD with all the posts about the slightest happenings. I enjoyed the drama but damn at a certain point it just got too much. Then you had people on both sides coming in here desperately trying to convince others they were right. At first it was fun to screw with them but then it just got boring.
