People are the sum of their experiences. To someone raised in Louisiana in the desert, the Jews are ruining America, the Muslims are a real threat to their lives, and Trump will save them from this onslaught of evil minorities.

The culmination of these people's experiences has caused them to believe these things, and it's really difficult to convince them otherwise, especially when they're both yelling at each other and hitting each other with bike locks and baseball bats.

The only way to fix this is to empathize with people. To truly understand why they hold these beliefs. I read an article about a black guy who became friends with KKK members, and "converted" them. All it took was for two people to connect, to understand each other.

Most people are born to serve a simple role within society, anything extra like learning beyond basic school needs is purely your own choice.
