Equity is a pretty weak standard of control anyway in the modern firm, it's just a residual claim with usually-minimal voting power. Anarchist conceptions of workplaces require you to basically interview with the collective to see if you fit in, and then you get a democratic share of the voting power over workplace decisions, relevant investment decisions (given resources under your control), etc. It may be odd to think about resources directly without some sort of numeraire, but big decisions would depend on wider community involvement (or federation involvement) anyway.
As for insurance, since property is collectively owned, replacing or repairing it is a collective decision. If a fire burns down an old factory that was mostly obsolete, maybe resources would be better off going somewhere else as per a community vote, taking into account the livelihoods of those that worked there.

Decisions are made at the relevant levels. A large mine would probably require regional input, where to put a garbage dump would require community input, working hours/conditions would require workplace input. If property is collectivized then you cannot have private enterprise, although I don't personally have much against homesteads/small family farms in rural areas.

Mutualists believe in a form of public banking and a society economically dominated by co-operatives.

If we're not talking about mutualism, which is basically market socialism, then no. Equity is a pretty weak standard of control anyway in the modern firm, it's just a residual claim with usually-minimal voting power. Anarchist conceptions of workplaces require you to basically interview with the collective to see if you fit in, and then you get a democratic share of the voting power over workplace decisions, relevant investment decisions (given resources under your control), etc. It may be odd to think about resources directly without some sort of numeraire, but big decisions would depend on wider community involvement (or federation involvement) anyway.
As for insurance, since property is collectively owned, replacing or repairing it is a collective decision. If a fire burns down an old factory that was mostly obsolete, maybe resources would be better off going somewhere else as per a community vote, taking into account the livelihoods of those that worked there.

A large mine would probably require regional input, where to put a garbage dump would require community input, working hours/conditions would require workplace input. Socialism is not in fact about endless meetings. If property is collectivized then you cannot have private enterprise, although I don't personally have much against homesteads/small family farms in rural areas.
