Honestly, he probably doesn't even really have to go that far. It isn't like there's a single, accepted definition of genderfluid, and it's essentially self-identified. It would be pretty hard to prove he wasn't genderfluid; he could just say he exclusively presents as a man when working with computers.
Unless, of course, they read his Reddit post where blatantly admits that he lied about it.
I know a few trans programmers now and they've all expressed it's very difficult to get hired anywhere. One even wrote a library allowing you control an OS entierly with your fucking eyes. She's genius tier...
/u/Mirrory, that's not that hard. 95% of the work would already be done for them by the machine reading the person's eye movements. They would just need to map the machines outputs to a keyboard and mouse.
I also like how you said "control an OS" instead of "move the mouse and click stuff, and some typing". You must be one of those javascript "programmers".
All you'd really need to do would be to overlay an inverted video feed of your eye over a circular mask split into eight parts. When a circle of white pixels of x diameter overlaps a segment, the segment runs its code, which in this case would be to move the mouse in a given direction. There you go, ocular mouse movement.
It's the same principle behind this cheap shovelware piece of garbage. I'm guessing there were no geniuses involved in its creation, but maybe I'm wrong.
You don't even have to do that, there's open facial recognition libraries and they are very easy to use. You could probably get something like this working in under 100 lines of code.
Interesting scenario since these, um, offbeat identities tend to only exist within a particular sociocultural mileau - trying to meet diversity goals based on identities that only exist among college-educated progressive millennials is basically a cute backdoor to justify the overrepresentation of these individuals among your labor force.
no one got /u/subpoutine's big lebowski reference. tho to be fair they butchered the wording and the people in that sub probably weren't alive when it came out

Additional discrimination drama when male feminists denigrate our sister subreddit /r/GenderCritical.

r/gendercritical: There's no such thing as a woman with a penis.

Guy just needs to buy a womens' dress, put it on, take it off, bam, empirically genderfluid.

One liar and one shithead hiring manager. These people deserve each other.
1 RecallRethuglicans 2017-10-22
Why is the manager wrong? Diversity helps the workplace.
1 rockidol 2017-10-22
Why would it make any difference?
1 RecallRethuglicans 2017-10-22
Because the manager was hoping to have someone to make the workplace diverse.
1 snowkarl 2017-10-22
Why does diversity help the workplace become more efficient? Show me one study that proves that. If anything, studies show the opposite.
1 rockidol 2017-10-22
No I mean why would it help the workplace to be racially diverse?
(and to be clear I'm not saying it would be bad for a workplace to be racially diverse)
1 RecallRethuglicans 2017-10-22
This is about gender diversity
1 rockidol 2017-10-22
Ok gender diversity then.

No, the OS can see beyond your eyes and read your mind to know what you want it to do, obviously.

Sounds like a great way to blind yourself with eye strain.
Imagine typing on a virtual keyboard with your eyes.
1 a_normal_human 2017-10-22
I think /u/infinitechan used to use a system like that, but it was a typing/keyword aid, not for the mouse.

Assuming this is real how tf does being genderfluid even come up if OP doesn't know what that means?

it's paraphrased. you didn't include the word ethos!
