Hey all. reddit decided to add an attribute to the reddit API which makes submitting comments an endeavor that becomes difficult. You may not get snapshots periodically while this issue is being resolved.

Long version: When you say something, your intentions don’t really matter. The way a person reacts to something you’ve said is no longer up to you once it’s said. You can try to explain a misunderstanding, and maybe that works, but it probably won’t. And if it doesn’t, that’s really your fault for failing to communicate effectively. You’re not alone with this problem though, it’s a very common problem with people of all sorts. It is, however, more common with people who say they value logic more than emotion despite a person being driven by their emotions then rationalizing them after the fact. So yes, you may not have intended to objectify a woman by catcalling her but that will be how your action will be perceived. Now with this knowledge it’s up to you if you’ll truly do the “logical” thing and adjust your behavior to better express your intent or to lash out angrily and deflect criticism. Or, you can go the incel/TRP/friendless virgin/MGTOW route and blame it on the woman for not understanding and rejecting you because they were brainwashed by feminism or whatever.

Should've expected this shit from Reddit when I posted a comment that was no more than putting across my view on the definition of the word 'objectification' and how I believe it is used too liberally to the point that it is a buzzword.
My comment regarding literal semantics now has people tagging me in separate threads to try and attack my character.
I won't give this comment a proper reply. If you wish to discuss this, I have made plenty of points in that thread, you can go there and address those points like an adult instead of attacking my character on a drama subreddit.
You'll find that people have had similar arguments to what you have shown here and I have addressed said points. You can read that if you wish.
