It's the opposite actually. They were bright kids and had good, caring parents. Then they got to their late 20s and realized they've accomplished nothing and fall into a cycle of denial and self loathing
Hitting 30 when your parents never told you that you were special is surprisingly painless. There's no sting to ending up mediocre like the other 99% of the population when you were never hyped to begin with.
Why is it sexist to ask a woman to lose weight for a part? It’s basically expected for men who have lead roles in blockbusters to be absolutely ripped. I’ve never heard a single reason for why this isn’t a blatant double standard.

Why the fuck are all redditors masochists who shit all over themselves constantly?

Probably because most of them were never loved as children. It's like when you see those 4chan screencaps shitting on reddit and redditors upvote it.

The sting comes from them realizing they were given all the advantages in the world and still somehow managed to come out worthless

It's almost like those movies were aimed entirely at twelve-year-olds...

Childrens' movies designed to sell merchandise are LITERALLY SO IMPORTANT.

Leia sucked in episode 8 and sounded like mayo trailer trash who always asks to bum a smoke off you.

I loved her line in 7:
“I agree”

Well considering she was a drug addict all through her life and coasted by on daddy's money, she would've been.

Those gross lip implants/ injections made her look like a sturgeon. There were two admiral ackbars in the movie.

Plus how awesome it would have been if Princess Leia would have been super buff in episode 7? Kill some enemies with her bare hands and shit.
