I think there's a special irony in how giddy the SRDines are acting here. They're so smug about how retarded this guy is for not having read any classic English lit in school, but they're only so thrilled about it because they're retarded enough to not be suspicious of how retarded that sounds. I myself am pretty retarded, and even I thought something was off, so the first thing I did was check out that guy's post history. Well right on his front page he's speaking some gibberish on a subreddit called /r/Suomi, which sounds like something a weeb would try to fuck but it's apparently the subreddit for Finland.

And judging from how often he posts there, and how terrible his english is, it's pretty obvious he grew up in a place that doesn't give a shit about Mark Twain or Ray Bradbury. He's got his own gibberish language authors writing about fjords or pickling fish or whatever the hell it is they do over there.

SRDines being smug about this is like a bunch Canadians thinking that the rest of the world is retarded for not knowing who Tim Horton is, even though his "Drive Thru Menu" is the nation's greatest work of literature. Or how down here in the panhandle every middle school student is given a xeroxed copy of a police report that goes into shocking detail about how to survive a sexual encounter with the skunk ape, but I wouldn't expect anybody outside of Panama City and /r/Drama to be familiar with it's author, /u/Ed__ButteredToast.

This isn't to say that the Finnish guy isn't retarded by the way, he gets into arguments all the time because he's so sure of himself that he can't even imagine someone not understanding him properly, he just thinks everyone else is retarded like there couldn't possibly be another explanation. And isn't that exactly what the SRDines are doing in the linked post? It's just self-assured retards all the way down, myself included. So you have users acting incredulous, saying shit like this:

The bigger idiot is the guy saying that political themes on her books makes her an expert in real life issues and if you like one you must accept the other (spoiler youre an idiot if you like either).

Having read some of Rowling’s tweets (and books), I can honestly say that she does appear to be part retarded - as are most Scottish people - and should indeed shut the fuck up.

I also think that she wants to hate-fuck Trump.
