No, it's a total hysterectomy if they remove all the uterus. It's a partial hysterectomy if they remove just the bottom end (the cervix and its surroundings). If they yank the ovaries also then it's a pan-hysterectomy. Yes, I know the prefix pan implies totality, but in this case there's a meaningful difference.
