For people that are confused about this, here's some background.

Personally, I think that /u/CraftyGirlJessica is just an /r/drama user pretending, and while the alleged account of the business owner in /r/BusinessTantrums doesn't seem as fake, the actual owner (Nick) would have dedicated a video or at least a page on his website to us if /u/CraftyGirlJessica was actually someone from the business.

I'm not sure if the posts in the aforementioned link talk about this, but Nick (the actual one, not the fake reddit account) is pretty bad-tempered and crazy. Read through those first though, before continuing.

Absurd terms and conditions on his website

He bought multiple domains to try and stop people from making anti-websites (for example, craftvinylsucks.com)

As a fellow business owner I assume you are legit and you make a good living.

But I have the feeling that you are going for the drama kicks over business growth and a happier customer base. ( I completely realize that there are terrible customers you don't want.)

If you are not purposefully creating drama then:

1.Why do you make the rules extra complicated (nested rules within rules) to trip people up. For example you put all of the following into one rule when in fact its several rules mashed together. All of the following is "1" rule and unbroken paragraph for your Tuesday promotion. When it should be broken into several rules and separate paragraphs:

VERY IMPORTANT: Because of the demand, if you order ORACAL from this page it "may" delay your order by 10 - 14 business days.

As always with any of our low price promotions if you are in a hurry you may want to pay regular price and not chance the delay. Please look at your calendar and count forward 10 - 14 business days (skipping weekends and holidays) and the 14th business day is the last possible day that your order may/will ship, the order may ship before 10 - 14 business days but nothing is guaranteed.

If you order Siser,, ThermoFlex-PLUS or glitter t-shirt vinyl from this page it will add SEVERAL more days on top of the 10-14 business days.

ANY order OVER $100 may take an extra day or so because these orders are "technically" $200 retail price.

DO NOT email us and remind us how many days it has been since you placed your order, if you do this your order will go to the back of the line and it will be shipped last, no exceptions, again if this delay is an issue DO NOT order.

Then you have several more "rules" in the text below that are not labeled "very importat".

You definitely do have control over the vast majority of your customers choosing to read or not to read your rules and you went as far as you possibly can from making the rules clear and to the point.

You love using run on sentences and restating the same things to throw people off before sneaking other rules into the same paragraph. The example above is perfect. First you go on and on about 10-14 days then switch to a completely different rules. IF you are going to pretend that you are a huge stickler for rules then at least be consistent about how you list the rules.

As for fixing things to make it easier on you and the customers:

One: You can stop with the nested rules as described above.

Two: You could use consistent formatting and lists for your rules instead of having them all over the place in different styles, formats, colors and places.

Three: Shorter and concise messaging. Instead of writing huge run on sentences you could say:

-10 to 14 days shipping on Oracle vinyl

-10 to 16 days (or whatever you think) shipping on Siser or thermoflex vinyl

-10 to 18 days on orders above $100.00

What I am saying is your pretense at making the rules clear is BS. If people are not reading when you really did make an effort at clear rules , then whatever have your drama calls.

Quite frankly the lady that said your site is designed shitty, is right. The express purpose is to make people as confused as possible.

No joke after watching the videos I think craft vinyl is probably my favorite business. Business owners put up with so much bullshit from idiotic customers and seeing how he actively deals with them is cathartic. I can understand why he has so many other businesses ordering from him and continuing to order.
