Oh Jesus that's what you think international business is. So I'm guessing you were never taught how to do things like calculate in external rate of return on an overseas project with varying exchange rates and compare that to a domestic MARR?
My guess is your understanding of complex finances only goes about as far as The Apprentice.
I actually really enjoyed it. Doing various cash flow diagrams and then collapsing them down...I dunno, something about it just makes sense to me. That said it was never my specialty, and when you got to the shit where you were having to simultaneously deal with discount rates, inflation, and forex shit it gets pretty ugly.
Look man, I feel kind of shitty for my last comment. If you really want to learn serious international economics, try and find some graduate level courses on Engineering Economics. These are sometimes offered in MBA courses, but in general the majority of those are dead weight. Look for Industrial Engineering or Operations Research programs. These are the engineering versions of "business school". Most business schools are more or less busy-work bullshit, with some exceptions. IE or OR programs will actually give you the mathematical framework to do real 21st century business stuff.
I distinctly remember people pointing out Trump was a conman before the election. Maybe you should have considered their opinions before wasting your vote on delusions.
And yet you got played. I have less sympathy for you than the rubes though. They were desperate, but you were just cynical. It'll be hard to feel sorry for you when Trump's recession energizes the commies.
Eh I’m actually looking forward to the market pullback. I was in college for the last one, this time I can really clean up on buying cheaper assets. Capitalism isn’t going anywhere the commies and leeches can get fucked
I mean. Trump might not care about others. But you think he would think about himself. Does he really believe that his party can win when he does shit like this? Say what you want about 2016, he was up against Clinton, and won by lashing out at years of broken promises. Now with 2 years in the seat, you really think he would try to do stuff that could help him gain accomplishments and avoid failures. Bills like this just help the other side and hurt his own.
This guy might end up causing his own impeachment if he passes off enough of the senators that still remain after the 2018 bloodbath
He would love that dude. Trump clearly just wants to be beloved and be told he is important. His whole plan for the presidential election was to lose, start up a conservative tv network, rant all day about rigged elections against the people, globablists, ect. He would rake in the dough, be beloved by his viewers, and wouldn't be under the constant media scrutiny he is today. If he got his ass impeached he would have a ton of ammo for his tv network. He could rant about the unfair media, deepstate, illegals, all day and his base would totally be behind him the entire time and pour money into his pockets.
I dunno man, Im starting to suspect he might actually end up in prison. Im not sure what exactly the hand hes been dealt is, but he sure as hell seems to be playing it poorly.
I think there’s an unspoken arrangement about not prosecuting ex-Presidents, so unless he actully gets physically removed from office he’s probably not going to jail.
There definitely is and its a big part of why our government has done so well despite having a substantial transition in the executive branch every four or eight years. Its really important.
With that said, Trump is in way over his head and doing everything wrong. While him going to jail would be exceptional and a break with tradition that would be bad for our democracy, I can see it happening based on the way things are going.
His whole plan for the presidential election was to lose, start up a conservative tv network, rant all day about rigged elections against the people, globablists, ect.
No it wasn't. It was the plan for most of the people who hung around him during the election. Only Trump and Bannon wanted to win, and Bannon had a B plan (the network). Trump wanted to win, and actually thought the polls were fake (they were real, but as Nate Silver pointed out the possibility of a Trump winning thanks to a Midwest swing in his favor was a statistical possibility).
Yeah, that's a good thing IMO. Why should everything be filtred through the Big Media machine? Why should Brian Seltzer or Maggie Haberman or Shawn Hannty have a say?
The reason Big Media hates Trump is because he cuts them out. President Obama would give out a handful of exclusice interviews to outlets, and they could proffit from the scoops/eyeballs/links.
Now, all they have is reaction, as their business model implodes.
Enough serious posting, more gussy or bussy posting and millenialcide plz
How many businesses did he run into the ground? By all accounts hes not that lucky. Theres definitely some seriously questionable stuff about that dude's finances.
How else do you describe someone that fucks up for 40 years but doesn't ever end up officially broke except for lucky?
Without looking at his finances who knows? Id venture a guess though that it involves some stuff thats not particularly legal.
Also, MJ never lost anything like Trump fucked up in Atlantic City and some of his other debacles. It wasnt until he got out of actual real estate and into being a brand that put its name on top of buildings other people built and paid for that Trump started doing ok, and even then we dont know exactly how ok he was doing.
I mean he inherited about $400 million after you take into account he dipped into his siblings' and invested in the hottest property market in which he was incredibly well connected due to his father being a real estate magnate. His father consigned his loans and offered him illegal assistance multiple times.
Part of the reason Trump does so well is he completely lacks an ethical base. When Trump declared bankruptcy in Atlantic City, he made money. Because of the way the company was strutted his shareholders were on the hook for the debt.
Wait. You think Trump cares about the Republicans? He only cares about himself. He signed this bill because he got told he couldn't go golfing this weekend if the government shut down.
Today is a tough day for us Trump supporters, but don’t jump train just yet. Very unlike our president to do something like this, we can only hope he’s got a card hidden somewhere and he’s playing the long game. Don’t lose hope, pedes.
Lol, what's funny is people who talk about the Trump train on that sub trigger that stupid train bot. So, he probably got a "we can't stop winning folks" with how many MPH the train is going in response to that.
So the list of things that can pry a little daylight between daddy and his cult followers:
Support for moderate, common sense gun got rolled measures
Signing bloated spending bills
Possibly treating brown people like human beings
I'm honestly surprised. Bringing on the most neoconservative neoconservative that ever neoconned even rattled some of them yesterday. Maybe there is hope.
The schadenfreude is beautiful, but a part of me worries that a certain subset of Trump cultists will go full 14/88 when they abandon Trump (I know one irl who has done this already). He was their redpill into the alt-right sphere and some will only dive deeper into it when they realize that he will not fulfill his promises.

Don't upvote this guy's posts. He's just an r/drama troll. Seriously click on usernames before you kneejerk respond to these tards. Their only goal is to cause as many problems as they can. They were posting about deleting their sub once they hit 50k and they could very well try to get the sub banned so they can form a new one.
One way that the Liberals troll this sub is 2 pretend that all of us who have been here for many years are concern trolls whenever we stand up for what we were promised. It's the scum who whine about concern trolls that are the Liberals, trying to divide us.

It's literally a Trump fan sub at this point it almost has nothing to do with real politics whatsoever. He's literally a God who can do no wrong to them.
The suicidal atmosphere was enhanced by the Nazis' report of numerous Soviet mass graves and other atrocities committed by the NKVD and Red Army towards the end of the war. A Nazi leaflet distributed in February 1945 in Czech territories warned German readers about the "Bolshevik murderer-pack" whose victory would lead to "incredible hatred, looting, hunger, shots in the back of the neck, deportation and extermination" and appealed to German men to "save German women and girls from defilement and slaughter by the Bolshevik bloodhounds".
Just because you fuck a trap, and they have a penis, doesn't mean it's gay if they're wearing rainbow stockings. it's actually 100% straight and not gay because normally only straight gamergirls wearing rainbow stockings. You're a retarded faggot if you think otherwise
Filthy Euro here: What is this bill, why does his base not like it, why did he sign it anyway? Can someone give me a TL;DR? Please I just want to belong
Base (and others) don't like it because it is just more horrific spending increases. Base specifically doesn't like it because despite all spending increases there was very little in it for "the wall."
He signed it anyways because Trump trolls everyone or because he's actually sperging out IRL about all these skanks of his in the news.
This is a spenidng bill, outlining Federal spending until September.
There's a lot in the bill, but the big butt hurt is that it explicitly shuts down Daddy's wall funding; the only border money is to fix the fences we have there. No money for new construction, and it blocks some Federal land from built on in the future. It also adds spending to investigate hacking attempts on voting machines. Also, Pelosi and McConnell (the House and Senate Minority leaders) were being happy on TV and that made Daddy pissy.
He eventually said he signed it because of a bump in military spending, pretty much the only notable Republican win in the bill.
Canadian here also wating to be long. Is it possible he uses the millitary to build the wall? Hear me out: the millitary loves their cowardly drones a LOT.
Could that spending be spent on 2 or 3 million drones that fly along the border (think 1 every 500' flying in a never ending line) creating a virtual wall of defense against the hostile drug cartels?
Border patrol already has some drones to keep an eye on things (basic ones aren't that expensive).
As for using the Defense budget to buy a fuckload of additional drones or other border assets, no. The budget is already allocated, covering R&D, personnel training costs and pay, acquisition of more equipment, all those sort of things, so unless someone managed to sneak in "all the drones" into a line item somewhere, Trump can't just grab cash from one area and use it for another.
That's also ignoring how heavily modern military operations use drones in active combat zones; getting them moved to watch for illegals would kick off a huge shitstorm from the DoD.
Now, if there was something like a huge spike in cartel violence spilling over the border, then we might see a larger deployment of National Guard units to the border (some states already use no-federalized NG units sometimes SG units to bolster patrol numbers, but that amounts to under 200 personnel in most cases). Barring that, no, Daddy won't be able to pull some 6D loophole abuse and create a defacto wall out of military assets.
The veto bluff was obvious. I'm a huge Trump fan and I saw it coming a mile away. Trump is many good and bad things but one thing he's not is a "sacrificial lamb." He was never going to take the blame for a goverment shutdown while everybody else could point fingers at him and say it was his fault. Vetoing was a loosing fight, and it would be a lose-lose fight. Trump doesn't do that.

Filthy Euro here: What is this bill, why does his base not like it, why did he sign it anyway? Can someone give me a TL;DR? Please I just want to belong
1 Username234983 2018-03-23
Base (and others) don't like it because it is just more horrific spending increases. Base specifically doesn't like it because despite all spending increases there was very little in it for "the wall."
He signed it anyways because Trump trolls everyone or because he's actually sperging out IRL about all these skanks of his in the news.
1 HP_civ 2018-03-23
Thank you
1 tilmoph 2018-03-23
1 colonel-o-popcorn 2018-03-23
Schumer is the Senate minority leader, McConnell is majority leader. Otherwise decent summary.
1 tilmoph 2018-03-23
Fixed thanks. Dunno why I fucked that up lol.
1 Rodomite 2018-03-23
Canadian here also wating to be long. Is it possible he uses the millitary to build the wall? Hear me out: the millitary loves their cowardly drones a LOT.
Could that spending be spent on 2 or 3 million drones that fly along the border (think 1 every 500' flying in a never ending line) creating a virtual wall of defense against the hostile drug cartels?
1 tilmoph 2018-03-23
1 Rodomite 2018-03-23
Well, it was worth a float :(
1 HP_civ 2018-03-23
Thank you!
1 _Sitty_Shoonerism_ 2018-03-23
The veto bluff was obvious. I'm a huge Trump fan and I saw it coming a mile away. Trump is many good and bad things but one thing he's not is a "sacrificial lamb." He was never going to take the blame for a goverment shutdown while everybody else could point fingers at him and say it was his fault. Vetoing was a loosing fight, and it would be a lose-lose fight. Trump doesn't do that.
1 Hemingwavy 2018-03-23
They were two votes away from a veto proof majority with 3 abstains. The reason Trump signed it was so he could go golfing this weekend.
