He admitted he knew about the Stormy Daniels payment. He said he did stay overnight in russia to watch prostitutes piss on each other. Then he finished off the interview saying he's thinking about exerting influence on the DOJ and making them investigate hilldawg and the FBI
Do I look like I give a shit? lmao. I'm just saying that while Jumbled's take on it was hilarious, to say it "wasn't an exaggeration" is such a dumb thing to do. It's like you literally didn't watch the interview.
Dude he lies about literally everything. The man has a very cold relationship with the truth. Him lying about staying in Russia means nothing at this point.
The NY prosecutors are already jumping all over that line. Claiming Trump's comments show that Cohen wasn't involved in much legal work, therefore Trump doesn't have a strong basis to black out much of the seized docs through attorney client privilege.
At the very end the hosts basically cut him off and say "well looks like you have to go since you're super busy, bye Mr. President!"
Hahaha, they literally waved him goodbye a la 90's children's show. The guy on the right transitions from enthusiastic to "WTF" during the interview, and towards the end seems to have a good 30 seconds of "are we the baddies?" going through his head.
He admitted he knew about the Stormy Daniels payment. He said he did stay overnight in russia to watch prostitutes piss on each other. Then he finished off the interview saying he's thinking about exerting influence on the DOJ and making them investigate hilldawg and the FBI
He admitted he knew about the Stormy Daniels payment.
He represents me — like with this crazy Stormy Daniels deal he represented me.
He said he did stay overnight in russia to watch prostitutes piss on each other.
For instance, I went to Russia for a day or so — a day or two because I own the Miss Universe pageant. So, I went there to watch it, because it was near Moscow. So I go to Russia — now, I did go there — everybody knows.
Then he finished off the interview saying he's thinking about exerting influence on the DOJ and making them investigate hilldawg and the FBI
Because of the fact that they have this witch hunt going on with people in the Justice Department that shouldn’t be there — they have a witch hunt against the President of the United States going on — I've taken the position — and I don’t have to take this position, and maybe I'll change — that I will not be involved with the Justice Department. I will wait until this is over. ...
So I'm very disappointed in my Justice Department, but because of the fact that it's going under, and I think you'll understand this, I have decided that I won't be involved. I may change my mind at some point, because what's going on is a disgrace. ...
And you look at the corruption at the top of the FBI. It's a disgrace. And our Justice Department, which I try and stay away from, but at some point I won't.
That last quote btw was from 3 different points in the interview. And it's just crazy how he goes from "I've taken the high road" to "The FBI and the DoJ is corrupt" to "At some point i'm gonna come in force the Justice Department to stop investigating me"
Based on this I have come to the conclusion that it’s a fantastic idea for Daddy to agree to a sit down interview with mueller and that all his lawyers advising him against it are 100% wrong.
How the right wing hasn't yet admitted that its morally bankrupt after seeing people stumble over themselves to defend trump at this point is beyond me.
Right? He also comes across as a huge fucking bore. Can you imagine being stuck next to that guy on a plane? As he talks your ear off all about himself in his run-on incoherent sentences.
Of course I stayed there. I stayed there a very short period of time but of course I stayed. Well his memo says I left immediately abo - I never said that! I never said I left immediately. So I said - and, you know the funny thing, he does these memos, and then fake news CNN whose a total fake, you know they give Hillary Clinton the questions to the debate. Nobody - can you imagine, by the way, if... you gave me... the questions... to a debate. They would have you out of business and they'd have me, uh, you better get out of this campaign, whea - they don't even bring it up
This is legitimately one of the funniest things I've read in a while.
He is incapable of staying on topic. I feel bad for the people who have to transcribe Daddy's ramblings and try to figure out what punctuation to use to make it a little more readable.
They literally spend the entire interview feeding him softball questions and leading him to make him look as good as possible, and he still manages to go off the goddamn rails and shoot himself in the dick.
It's real hard to argue that a dishonest media is pushign a narrative when his own captive favorite media ran the interview and he, unprompted, unloaded double barrels of admission right into his own foot.
let's start by the fact that I wasn't even defending Trump here, and that it really isn't about defending or not defending the guy, it's about actually trying to be neutral. I would do the same for other politician or celebrity getting shit simply for expressing their opinion. but enough serious posting.
Is it still a "narrative" when trump and basically everyone he hires keeps confirmed it's all true. They've got no credit left telling people to believe them, trump couldn't even last a week between denying he didn't know about paying stormy off to admitting he was involved with it. He didn't stay in russia has turned that he did. Just like his campaign never met with russians and now we know pretty much everyone high up in his campaign did along with his children.
Most Trumptards are done trying to defend him. They'll still support him, but the "jig is up" as they say.
He's literally indefensible. They'll sit in their echo chambers, huddled together, trying to convince themselves that they're the heroes in an epic saga of good vs evil, with them being on the side of good, of course.
With that mindset, it's easy to rationalize any incompetence, any absurdity, any wrong doing. If Trump came out tomorrow and admitted to every accusation against him they'd still find a way to spin out of it, most likely they'd simply declare "Hillary was worse."
Political values like this tend to be absolute. When you tie your entire identity to "winning" no matter what the cost, with little or no concern for the truth, you open yourself up to indoctrination.
You open yourself up to orange morons that speak at a 3rd grade level and are very clearly scamming you.

Try not having a child's view of the world. No one is "trying to convince themselves that they're the heroes in an epic saga of good vs evil, with them being on the side of good, of course."
I'm on my side, the only side. Trump is useful for now, that's all he needs to be.
Dunno man, that's some pretty normie tier shit. Needing to believe you're on the side of good, or even thinking of the world as a struggle between abstract good and evil.
This is literally how large percentages of the population view the world.
Why do you think the Donald and CBTS stream are always ramping up the tension, claiming they're involved in some eternal good vs evil struggle and have god on their side?
Most stories we tell can be broken down into "good vs evil."
From the book "suspicious minds."
Our seemingly insatiable appetite for stories with implausibly wicked baddies suggests that, even though they diverge from reality, archetypal villains correspond in some important way to how we see the world. Our thinking is subject to what Baumeister calls “the myth of pure evil.” When we do bad things, we are good at rationalizing our behavior as a momentary lapse or a reasonable and justified response to circumstances. When other people do bad things, though, it’s because they are just bad to the bone; we assume that evildoers are driven primarily by sadism and malice, inflicting harm for the sheer pleasure of doing so, while their victims are wholly innocent. The result is that, like Santa Claus, we have an irresistible compulsion to sort people into just two categories: good or bad, saint or sinner, naughty or nice.
Baumeister points out traces of the myth of pure evil not just in children’s comic books, but in the stories we tell to make sense of everyday life, too. The nightly news tends to focus on stories about arbitrary attacks on unsuspecting innocents. In the wake of the Columbine High School shootings, Time magazine emblazoned its cover with smiling pictures of the two perpetrators, accompanied by the headline THE MONSTERS NEXT DOOR. President George W. Bush played into the myth when he said that the terrorists behind the 9/11 attacks were driven by pure hatred of “our freedoms”—adding “these terrorists kill not merely to end lives, but to disrupt and end a way of life.”
Reality is complicated. Evildoers are rarely motivated by pure sadism and victims are not always entirely innocent. Violence is often the result of mutual provocation and escalating hostility. Heinous acts are often committed by people who are essentially ordinary, and who believe they are in the right. Through the myth of pure evil, however, we twist reality, with all its infinite shades of gray, into a black-and-white caricature of unassailable good versus irredeemable evil. “The myth of pure evil depicts malicious, alien forces intruding on the world of well-meaning, unsuspecting, virtuous people,” Baumeister wrote. “The world often breaks down into us against them, and it almost invariably turns out that evil lies on the side of ‘them.’”
As with any psychological foible, we’re each drawn to the myth of pure evil to a greater or lesser extent. In 2011, psychologists Eric Oliver and Thomas Wood surveyed one thousand Americans. Among questions about various conspiracy theories, they included one short statement about the fundamental nature of the political process: “Politics is ultimately a struggle between good and evil.” More than a third of the people surveyed agreed with the sentiment. Revealingly, the more strongly someone agreed, the more likely he or she was to buy into conspiracy theories. A black-and-white worldview provides a perfect canvas for conspiracy thinking.
Joe Uscinski and Joseph Parent point out that conspiracy theories are far from an entirely alien way of viewing the world. Conspiracism, they argue, isn’t all that different from everyday political discourse; it is merely intensified and stripped of nuance. “Where regular politicians highlight problems, advocate solutions, and call for concerted action soon, conspiracy theorists highlight an abysmal state of affairs, advocate titanic policies, and call for concerted action right now.” There are genuine problems in the world; our liberty is sometimes threatened, bureaucrats can be self-interested. Through the filter of conspiracism, these issues take on the guise of a melodramatic struggle between good and evil, ripped straight from the pages of a comic book. From John Robison’s claim that the Illuminati was intent on overthrowing all the governments of Europe, to currently fashionable theories about psychopathic bureaucrats with no qualms about murdering thousands of their fellow citizens, the best conspiracy theories are stories about manically evil villains, with the vaguest of motives, wantonly perpetrating outrageous evils on an innocent, unsuspecting public.
Yeah. Its easier to say people are exaggerating when not in the threads where there's specific examples.
That's something I realized often happens. A common argument that is used for many topics is the insistence that the accusation someone is making is too high and that reasonable people would never do anything that bad, so therefore it can be dismissed offhand. Somehow the more serious something potentially is the less attention it should be given.
AND THEY DON'T STOP COMING AND THEY DON'T STOP COMING AND THEY DON'T STOP COMING AND THEY DON'T STOP COMING AND THEY DON'T STOP COMING AND THEY DON'T STOP COMING AND THEY DON'T STOP COMING
I mean aside from all the concentration camps, yeah. Economy's doing fine, dramacoin is up, we still live in the most prosperous, stable and opportunity-filled time in human history. You don't think things are going mildly well?
Judicial branch is keeping the Republican's shit in check
Wow, so America's system is functioning exactly as intended and the only things Trump can do are things within the scope of checks and balances by the other branches of government? Wow, like no way.

What did Daddy say?

But what went wrong in the interview?
1 JumbledFun 2018-04-26
From Fox's perspective they let him talk for about 15min too long. From our perspective the interview was perfect

Why did he lie about staying overnight in Russia.
First he never did it.
Now he admits to it.
Why lie so much if innocent?

Do I look like I give a shit? lmao. I'm just saying that while Jumbled's take on it was hilarious, to say it "wasn't an exaggeration" is such a dumb thing to do. It's like you literally didn't watch the interview.

Trump dropped 1.6 mil for a fucking abortion. It would have been cheaper to keep it alive.
