There are no universally-accepted statistics for transgender people. There's one group that says they don't exist, another group that gives numbers about 0.04% to 0.05%, and another group that says 1% to 3%.
Based on the fact that everybody has about 150 people in their social group, any number over 1% is completely unrealistic. Based on scientific evidence, 0% is untrue. So 0.05% (1 in 2000) is the figure that I believe.
