As the banning of over 250k people encroaches in, we have some bite sized drama in r/thanosdidnothingwrong because the sub's founder lets out a Logan Paul-style apology for putting his ego above the will of the hivemind

Are you genuinely mentally challenged? Please use whatever little brain cells you have left after your glue huffing addiction to think a little bit before posting something as stupid as this again. Thanks and have a nice evening. src

I am a bot. (Info / Contact)

The best bot on reddit

What's with the ironic worship of genocidal villains on reddit? Is it because they mayos?

Basically

Avengers was an alt-right project to white-wash genocides

It's summer and teens are being edgy.

Phones have reddit now dude, it's a year round thing

Right, but the cool teens are hanging out with their friends. Only the losers are left on Reddit.

This whole thing is stupid.

Reddit drives jokes into the ground so often the Earth's core is 50% shitty memes at this point.

IS THIS LOSS

I legitimately saw NSFW images in the format of that mene yesterday.

I haven't really kept up with this because I'm already at critical retard levels and can't afford to get any dumber. But wouldn't this whole schtick have been funnier if they just banned half the sub without building it up, asking for reddit approval, etc? Is anyone actually going to think it's funny now that they've been talking about it for a month?

Yeah, it was way funnier at the beginning. Now the meme has pretty much been played to death and everyone (myself included) is secretly hoping for this all to end already so they can move on.

What was banned?

Half the sub

I mean, you do understand that you kinda have to ask permission from the admins to do this shit, otherwise they could very easily revert the ban, right? Besides, even the waiting period between the ban announcement and the actual date of the ban, which in and on itself is something that I personally hated, is kinda justified because they had to work out how the bot would work. Their real mistake here was to announce this stuff and make this big sort of marketing campaign for the sub, the mods and the admins should have just worked in the quiet and then take the sub by surprise.

Lol no. Do you know how large ban lists are for places like me_irl? They ban people that never even have showed up in their sub before.

Admins have mod guidelines but do almost nothing to enforce them. Mods have way too much power but they are free labor.

Even if this is true, that's not the reason he did it this way. He clearly states he just doesn't want to lose his karma.

Yep, and now his comment about how he doesn't want to lose karma is mysteriously absent 🤔

I swear to God, Reddit moderators are the most degenerate form of human being imaginable

They had to ask the admins for help because it would have taken ages through the API, according to a removed /r/aanouncements thread.

LE Thanos AMRITIE lads tee hee xd

Hope you get erased you little shit

being this mad

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Are you angry?

holy heck that video was Reddit as FUCK 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮

Yeah, Jesus Christ tell me about it. I filtered this dumb shot when I saw it instantly.

I have to admit, I think MDE might be right about Bugmen.

What the fuck is that place and how is it keeping 60K people amused atm?

what the fuck is this nerd shit

the sub needs only worship one individual and it's not /u/the-jedi-apprentice

/u/whitebandit, you are the answer to the question "What's the smallest amount of power you've ever seen go to someone's head?"

Could someone explain that entire sub to me?

/u/whitebandit Christ just let the capeshit fans have their fun. How do you fuck up such a basic thing...

Name one other hobby that attracts as many broken and outwardly disturbed people as internet moderators.
