I would put it at 40-60% tbh. That's including all allegations reported and unreported. Allegations of rape are more common than the crime itself by far.
Well, up to 10% of reported accusations are verifiable as false. Probably another 10% slip through because of prosecutor misconduct, dumb juries, and bias. Then there's the fact that about 80% of rape accusations are now on social media. Since, of social media and word-of-mouth accusations, anywhere from 20% on up are similarly false, we have 40% minimum with about 20% likely variance. I'm being charitable though, I suspect that the number for rape accusations outside of police reports are about 90% false accusations. This isn't counting women who rape men and then accuse the man of rape, of course. That puts the number around 95%.
So actually now that I think about it, probably 85% of rape accusations total are false.
I don't know where he got his numbers but I remember a study done over a 20 or so year period that showed around 40% were false. Plus they only counted it as a false accusation if the woman admitted to it. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I would put it at 40-60% tbh. That's including all allegations reported and unreported. Allegations of rape are more common than the crime itself by far.

Well, up to 10% of reported accusations are verifiable as false. Probably another 10% slip through because of prosecutor misconduct, dumb juries, and bias. Then there's the fact that about 80% of rape accusations are now on social media. Since, of social media and word-of-mouth accusations, anywhere from 20% on up are similarly false, we have 40% minimum with about 20% likely variance. I'm being charitable though, I suspect that the number for rape accusations outside of police reports are about 90% false accusations. This isn't counting women who rape men and then accuse the man of rape, of course. That puts the number around 95%.
So actually now that I think about it, probably 85% of rape accusations total are false.

I don't know where he got his numbers but I remember a study done over a 20 or so year period that showed around 40% were false. Plus they only counted it as a false accusation if the woman admitted to it. I'll see if I can dig it up.
The single digit number just comes from FBI statistics and only counts women who got convicted for false allegations which is bullshit. If they are going to count that then I'm going to count any time a man was not found guilty of rape as a false rape accusation. It's disingenuous as fuck.

Why can't you worry about rape AND false allegations? We already do that for serious crimes like terrorism, pedophilia, murder, etc... and only the scummiest of people object to fair trials for the accused in these situations.
