SRD was actually sometimes interesting and readable, 6+ years ago. I think srs made a concerted effort to take it over, and its just been a dump ever since.

The transformation occurred over time due to the incestuous nature of complaining-about-reddit subs; people from CB wanted to see the same content in SRD because for whatever reason radicals seem to hate the idea of communities having features that make them distinct.

SRD got much less circlebrokey after the rules were implemented, though. If things had been allowed to continue from what they were ~3-4 years ago then it would probably be not much different to negareddit.

You know what /r/drama needs? It needs a mod that instigates and goads people. It also needs a mod that surround herself with drama because drama is the only way she feels validated. A mod that will shirk benevolence and act like a complete fuck towards the users of a sub that have been around a lot longer than she has.
