First of all, as a disclaimer, I am not a dog eater myself nor am I a vegan. I don't get people who accuse dog eaters while they are enjoying their beef and pork. I don't think they have a rational logic behind the hate behind dog eating.

I think most of the reasons they claim dog eating is vulgar are that "dogs are cute", or "dogs are human's best friend" or whatever. I believe that none of which logically makes sense.

The "dogs are cute" argument is subjective, plus accusing someone of eating something due to its looks is ironical. There is no logic behind accusing someone who ate something ugly, pretty, cute, or whatever adjective you wanna put.

The "dogs are human's best friend" is also bullshit as cows and pigs can be equally domesticated like dogs, if someone chooses to do so. They can think rationally like dogs do, they can do the same things that dogs do if they were to be educated the same way that dogs are.

I don't get why people call Chinese people vulgar cause they "eat dogs". Maybe animal cruelty is one of them, as some chinese dog eating festivals or whatever, might not be performed in the most organized or hygiene way. However if you are gonna accuse dog eaters with "animal cruelty" while eating meat yourself then you are a hypocrite.
