Anyway, for better or for worse, that's pretty much all that is left in the GOP these days as they managed to drive away all of their top intellectuals and Liberal politicians (and "good riddance" I'm sure the average MAGA-tard would chime in). One thing that is interesting, at least to me having lived through all this, is that the tilt towards the more extreme policies and the constant series of purity tests that marked much of the 1990's and 2000's for the GOP is pretty much being reenacted these days by the Democrats, except probably taken to a more ridiculous direction.
I remember back when cable tv and talk radio would be crammed non-stop with people bitching and bickering about "RHINOS" and literally watching the GOP eat itself alive.
