One guy tried to walk in, computer in hand (strictly no-no), and offered his babysitter a roll of hundreds.
I'm on a LLM programme in the U.K. at the moment with loads of Chinese students and they're all extremely hard working from my perspective. Most of the money spend all day in the library. They all have shit spoken English but above average written English.
Apparently the year prior my 1L some LLMs were caught cheating on closed book exams and copying info from hidden notes into the computer.
Logical solution? Ban the computers! The LLMs were on the same curve as one another and not intermingled with the other classes so I’m guessing admin figured “fuckit.”
It was hilarious to waltz into a test and have my computer and see the dejected, envious, plebs.
Re length: yeppers. At least 20. My ConLaw final was just under 40 on the worlds worst issue spotter of all time.
