Did you guys know that Dallas has a gift shop at the location where Kennedy got shot?

No joke. Like you'd think there would just be memorial or something but we've actually capitalized on the time we killed our own leader in public. There's a museum with a gift shop where you can buy merchandise and shit. Nobody seems to think that's weird but me.
Not only that but basically the only reason anyone ever films anything in this city is when they want to make a movie about the JFK assassination. What most view as a horrific tragedy has honestly been pretty good for the local economy.
We have so little shame about it that I'm honestly surprised you can't buy shirts saying "I survived Dealey Plaza" or broken JFK bobbleheads. This state just does not give a flying fuck at all.

Listen up, men. If masterlawlz approaches you and wants to have sex with you, YOU HAVE SEX WITH HIM. No ifs ands or buts about it. First of all, you should be honored as shit to have the opportunity to have a sex with a big beautiful mod. More importantly, you have to oblige as he says because if you say no, you are actively oppressing him with your bullshit ridiculous standards of good posts and lets face it, what YOU think is good doesn't matter because he can sticky as much as he wants. It's HIS body, not yours. By oppressing him with your modphobia though, you are likely going to be triggering him and are thus violating him and his identity and by violating him so viciously like that, you are in fact, committing rape.

Ford's Theater even has an online Lincoln-themed merch store: https://store.fords.org

Imagine getting your brains blown out in public and then 150 years later that place sells pint glasses with your face on it
1 Rentokill_boy 2019-09-08
the american dream is alive and well I see
1 MG87 2019-09-08
Yeah there's a difference between memorializing someone and clearly trying to make a quick buck
1 Tzar-romulos 2019-09-08
I once upon a time lived in DC. I was at some bars/clubs. Was with this foid who got supper drunk. She threw up on fords theater. I remember thinking, imagine Lincoln seeing this shit.

I heard their limo tours will blow your mind!
1 elephantofdoom 2019-09-08
I’m on mobile so I can’t post the links but just know that this post got them in my head.
1 ImJustaBagofHammers 2019-09-08
I think I have some of them memorized by now.
1 WhaIeBones 2019-09-08
You can post links on mobile you sped
1 Chapo_Landlords 2019-09-08
Yeah, it’s great. You can take a tour of the textbook building and view the street from the window he shot from.
They even have a replica rifle (unloaded, of course) that you can point from the window for photo opportunities
1 snallygaster 2019-09-08
lmao seriously? That's hilariously disrespectful
1 Chapo_Landlords 2019-09-08
No, that’s my troll answer to people when they ask me about Dallas.
2 snallygaster 2019-09-08
Damn
1 Chapo_Landlords 2019-09-08
If it’s any consolation, and as if to rub it in the faces of conspiracy theorists who come to visit, there is a tolerance museum/holocaust memorial next door behind the grassy knoll.
1 MasterLawlz 2019-09-08
It’s pretty ridiculous to equate the two though. Wondering if the assassination of a world leader was an inside job, something that has happened a million times in history, is not the same as being a holocaust denier. I’m pretty sure that’s a question that almost everyone has asked regardless of their political opinions.
1 Chapo_Landlords 2019-09-08
Whoa whoa whoa Lawlz are you going to drop redpills on me??
1 ThousandQueerReich 2019-09-08
Seriously. The assassination of JFK was studied as nauseam. Everyone knows what really happened. Question the holocaust, and the government will turn you into a lampshade. We may never know if it really happened.

One guy gets killed by a loser mayo desperately searching to find some meaning in his life through totalitarian ideology. Six million people get killed by a loser mayo desperately searching to find some meaning in his life through totalitarian ideology. These things do kind of correspond to each other if you ask me.
1 MasterLawlz 2019-09-08
I haven’t been to the museum since I was a kid so I 100% believed him lol. It didn’t see that far out of line of what I’m used to here
1 falconear 2019-09-08
Lol that's fucking funny, but the truth is they have the spot where Oswald stood behind glass, and it's set up like it was that day.
You can get to the next window over though. I did that. To see if I thought I could have made the shot. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
1 600_lbs_of_sin 2019-09-08
missed opportunity then tbh
1 NMJ87 2019-09-08
The window is behind velvet rope but they staged it the way it looked on the day of. All the boxes and such
1 newcomer_ts 2019-09-08
Is the window access with no Lee Harvey Oswald in it still closed off to general public?
1 snallygaster 2019-09-08
Eternal reminder that the people who don't see a problem with this are probably the ones that had a conniption over JFK Reloaded being disrespectful
1 MasterLawlz 2019-09-08
Lol. The concept is cool (Someone is also making a video game that simulates the Titanic sinking in real-time that's also for educational purposes) but that title was 100% chosen to rile people up. It sounds like some 90's revenge film.
1 snallygaster 2019-09-08
oh, the educational excuse was total BS
1 ThousandQueerReich 2019-09-08
This is the anti-intellectualism destroying the university system and scientific progress as a whole.
1 Redactor0 2019-09-08
That's true and makes it especially sad that it was still the best educational game of the 1990s.
1 somestupidname1 2019-09-08
That's the most boring sounding game ever, but apparently someone got 10k for playing it.
1 Redactor0 2019-09-08
Actual serious seriouspost: I sincerely recommend that anyone who has doubts about the JFK assassination play this. What I learned is that the "magic bullet theory" is not only plausible, but it's pretty much the only plausible outcome. If you're aiming for him you either get Kennedy in the head or get him through Connelly. Both actually happened.
It's unironically the best edutainment title since Oregon Trail and it's a shame that we don't have a society where it could be released that way.
1 nwordking 2019-09-08
Another solid post my friend.
1 ThousandQueerReich 2019-09-08
Has anyone questioned the gift shop owner? He has a hell of a motive. All I'm saying is look into it.
1 IncitingAndInviting 2019-09-08
Solemn memorials are for closure. There was no closure to the JFK assassination. So the crime scene will always be a monument to the mystery.
1 Redactor0 2019-09-08
We caught the little commie shit and killed him. What more did you want?
1 -Kite-Man- 2019-09-08
You can't say Dallas doesn't love you, Mr Kennedy...
1 tallcelvolcel 2019-09-08
9/11 Memorial has a gift shop with a piece of the steel beams in the middle.
1 pok8 2019-09-08
Not as silly or ironic as Australians naming a swimming pool to commemorate Harold Holt, their former prime minister, who disappeared in a swimming accident.
1 McFluff_TheCrimeCat 2019-09-08
Is that the one who got lost in the ocean?
1 YungCamus 2019-09-08
yep. went for a swim and never came back
1 MG87 2019-09-08
He came back as shark shit
1 HodorTheDoorHolder_ 2019-09-08
lol
1 QuantumFreakonomics 2019-09-08
I like how there's a huge X in the middle of the street at the exact location he got shot
1 chimpan_z 2019-09-08
lawlz do u have any proof that u weren't behind the grassy knoll on that fateful day?
1 ConfusedArtDesigner 2019-09-08
Dude there’s a fucking tour you can take. Someone is working on an AR simulation of it.
1 i_Chapo-d_my_pants 2019-09-08
any merch referencing the grassy knoll?
1 MikeStoklasaBackup 2019-09-08
I actually went there back in 2013. I think my mom bought something.

I assume you've already heard of the 82+ court cases Dallas lost to the guy selling shit on the Grassy Knoll - https://www.dallasobserver.com/news/dallas-has-now-lost-82-cases-against-robert-groden-someone-call-guinness-8680799
