TLDR: retarded boomer can't figure out basic janitorial skills and unintentionally (?) gives an 18k user sub dedicated to women over to the incels of r/Braincels
Until today I was a moderator of a sub called r/gonenatural where women would post selfies without makeup.
A couple months ago the most senior mod u/NiceFella736, who I'd come to realize is not the sharpest tool in the shed, decided he was going away from Reddit and for some reason made a big deal about this and the need for someone to be declared the new "top mod". Mind you, the sub requires very little moderation and there's already a natural hierarchy from the moderator list that this guy didn't seem to understand. I thought the idea was stupid, but if it was going to happen might as well be me so we don't end up with someone malicious or on a powertrip. Using the ruthless Machiavellian instincts that all r/Drama jannies possess, I was of course declared "top mod".
Unfortunately, dealing with a mongoloid, nothing changed - not even an update in permissions which were currently a bizarre selection of privileges for all mods, just that cringe post that he stickied and he was gone. We didn't even have access perms, yet had config perms so I had to setup an automod shadowban list which I maintained for the few trolls and thirst posters we would get. I'd check in for a few minutes every couple of days to look at the mod queue, remove any bad comments, and update the list if needed.
Then suddenly around three weeks ago he decided he was coming back. He writes in our Reddit mod chat:
Hey guys. A month ago I wanted to leave the mod team as I wasn't active. However, from now on, I will be much more active. Thus I won't be leaving the mod team.

Also I wanna know who's inactive. From now on I want only active moderators, meaning those who are inactive will be removed from the mod team.
To make sure that everyone is active, I'll give everyone 24 hours to reply here. If someone doesn't comment, I'll give them 3 days. If I don't hear from them in 3 days, I'll remove them from the mod team.
What the fuck does this even mean? You have 24 hours and if not you have 3 days? Retard doesn't even know how to look at the modlog to see who actually does what. He removes one of the few actually active moderators we had because the mod didn't check the chat in that time. Then he disappears again but not before making a post for additional mods:

Pretty 'tarded, but alright. No one that replied to that post could even check out the subreddit though because unknown to us this dumb motherfucker set the sub to private for no reason. He did nothing with the sub while it was private, didn't tell any of us other mods he'd done so, and his own post directs people to the sub like he thought they'd be able to see it so I can only assume he couldn't even understand what he was doing. It wasn't until I realized we hadn't had any new posts for 11 days that I checked the settings, realized what he'd done, and fixed it.
Now today, he declares all mods of the sub inactive without any warning (or activity from himself) and removes all of us. I checked the sub when I got the removal message, and he had made a welcome post for the few new mods he had already replaced us with. I can't tell how he found them as I don't see any recent "mods wanted" type posts in his profile.
Now to what inspired me to actually make this post, I looked again tonight and noticed the mod list had grown significantly and there were weird posts like: this, this, and this from the new mods. That last one:

Look at ourselves w/o makeup. We look hideous in most cases compared with makeup. We should start dating men who are short/ugly because those Chads won’t last forever.
Haha what is going on? So I took a closer look at the mod list this time and the first mod he added is named u/Redditfagthrowaway (don't know how I missed that) and is exclusively an r/Braincels poster lmao 😂 If you go down the list, they've added nothing but r/Braincel users as mods. I'm not sure how many NiceFella added himself, I suspect it's the new mods adding more and more of their fellow incels. Now NiceFella might be legally retarded (just look at the sidebar), but I think he sincerely wants that sub to be what it claims to be. The only logical explanation to me is that some incels duped the poor boomer into staging a coup for them. It'll be interesting to see what happens here.

So reading your too long effort post I have a theory as to what happened behind the scenes. It is just a theory though.
Dude went away because he finally found himself a lady friend. He wanted to be less active on reddit, spend more time with her etc so off he goes. Time passes and suddenly he comes back and starts replacing mods with incels? I think his relationship went sour and he wanted to get revenge on the gender that slighted him even indirectly as he went about it. Maybe deep down he knew it was scummy and wrong but he plowed ahead anyways.
This is all conjecture but IMO it can fit his pattern of behavior if you squint a little bit.
