Zyklon B is literally an aerial preparation of cyanide, these galaxy brains are literally saying that cyanide can't kill you. If someone has tried it in the past and found it to be "weak bug spray" they were either lucky enough to not inhale enough or used the wrong shit.

Wikipedia says it's the other way around, Zyklon B was the improved (still commercial insecticide) version with the smell additive.

I gonna disagree with wikipedia. Zyklon was originally developed to rid Germanys factories of insects and rodents as part of Hitlers factory beautification program. When they started using it on humans they had to remove the smell additive to keep the jews calm in the chambers. Because their first use of zyklon the jews would freak out when they smelled the gas. Hence the creation of "B".
