If anyone asks me how I found this ancient drama, I was searching for the 2017 2007scape Pride spergout, because I hate myself and I'm binging on Vyvanse to "study" for exams at 1 am on a Saturday night, I found this comment from the glory days of legalized pinging, and I assumed that if I clicked a lolcow's profile and sorted by "controversial" I'd find some quality gamer moments. Turns out I was right.
This is probably a good time to remind you that YOU WERE GOING TO STUDY FOR EXAMS. As much as you really want to keep doing whatever you're doing right now, this is when you gotta shift over to studying, and you will be just as obsessed with that in 5 minutes.

I wonder if this guy is even aware of the fact like, the vast majority of pollution dating back to the industrial revolution came out of the "first world."
Why do they act so shocked that the first world is expected to pay for the clean up?
And before anyone says "but China" we're talking about total, since the industrial revolution. The US got a huge head start on China:
And this isn't even getting into the fact China is dumping billions and billions of dollars into fighting climate change because they don't have the luxury of denial.
We really have to apologize to the Chinese for all our carbon emissions during WW2. I guess Americans just didn't care about what they were doing to the rest of the world back then. 🙄
It's not that anyone has to "apologize" it's that the constant whining over having to pay for a mess we, ourselves, caused for the most part is getting old.
Even more damning is we used these countries as factories and exported our pollution to feed growing consumer economies. The idea the west shouldn't pay for this is absurd.
