It never really made sense to me but that was my most logical assumption and it's what I thought for years before someone corrected me. I legit imagined the "cucks" in those memes to be like Burgess Meredith in the original Rocky, being in the corner and cheering on the bull as well as maybe oiling him up beforehand.
Truthfully, I still prefer to think this as it's a much funnier visual.
